Privacy and cookies

Codex Forever (Astanyz's Guide) is a static fan site. It has no accounts, no forms and no comments, and it doesn't collect your name, email or any other personal data on its own.

What your browser stores

The site keeps two small things in your browser's local storage, and they never leave your device: the language you chose (codex-lang) and a 12-hour copy of the talent data (codex-tf2-<class>), so the calculator loads faster.

Content loaded from other sites

• YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) plays the muted video previews when they scroll into view.
• Talents Forever (talentsforever.com) provides the talent data.
• Images come from Blizzard's servers, Wowhead (zamimg.com) and Warcraft Wiki. Fonts come from Google Fonts.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) for security.

These services receive your IP address and browser details when they send their content, under their own privacy policies.
